If you're ready to live an incredible life, these 10 secrets will allow you to master anything.

Since I was 17 years old I have been committed to self-mastery.

To be the master of yourself is to fully understand who you are and take responsibility for your own life.

Unfortunately, I see a lot of people invest way too much time and energy into mastering the wrong things. As a result, they are left feeling lost and unfulfilled.

From my experience, I have found that are only 10 areas of life that you must master if you want to achieve happiness and success.

If you're ready to take control of your destiny instead of hoping for the best, read this!

Every aspect of your life works together.

Life is not structured. Rather, it is a dynamic process that is constantly changing. I believe that happiness is a journey that is rooted in the mastery of many different facets of life.

I've identified six areas of life that I believe are important to master. By bringing awareness to these areas, you can determine where you are falling short so that you can work to improve them over time.

1. Physical Body

Your body is your temple. You experience everything in life through your body. If you don't master your body, you're going to have a compromised experience of life. Everything that you want in life is going to require an abundance of energy.

2. Mental and Emotional Well Being

The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your emotions. You can have everything on the outside, but if you don't feel fulfilled and happy, you'll be missing out on life. Emotions are habitual. We all have an emotional home.

You need to condition the emotions that you want to experience. I like to differentiate mental well being from emotional well being. Oftentimes, people struggle to experience emotions because they are too busy living in their heads.

One of my favorite sayings is, “Live in your head, you're dead.” When you overthink things, it inhibits your ability to appreciate all that life has to offer. Your head is great for making rational decisions, but your heart is where love, gratitude, joy, and happiness are found.

3. Relationships

The purpose of relationships is to amplify our experience of life. You don't want to go through life alone. You can achieve all the success in the world but if you don't have someone you can share your life with, you'll always feel like something is missing.

Who you decide to spend your life with is one of the most important decisions you'll make in life. Also, you need to learn how to attract the right people into your life, otherwise known as an empowering ecosystem. Once you attract these people, you've got to learn how to communicate with them effectively.

4. Career/Business

Your work needs to give you a sense of purpose in your life. I don't look at what I do as a job. Rather, it's my mission. When I use that kind of language, it amplifies my experience of it.

You'll spend one-third of your life working so you may as well make sure that you're doing something that you love.

5. Financial Abundance

You must master your finances. A lot of people don't have a healthy relationship with money. They're intimidated by money, so much so that they don't know what to do with it. You want your money to work for you.

Money is a tool. It can give you more time, help you build lasting wealth, or be a vehicle to make a difference in the world. When you know how to use money, you'll have a better experience of life.

6. Spiritual Well Being

This is the most important area of my life. My connection to God transcends everything else. I believe that I've been put on Earth for a reason. My spiritual connection with God gives me a deeper sense of meaning.

It helps me to think beyond myself and live with honesty, integrity, and ethics. Nobody has any evidence when it comes to spirituality, but we all have faith. If you wait for physical evidence you'll be limiting your experience of life.

Each of these 6 areas of life is important. The question is… how do you master these areas?

These are the 10 secrets to mastering anything in life. Let's dive in!

1. Make It A Study

Whatever it is that you want to master in life, you have to make it a study. Unfortunately, our school system doesn't help us master the important areas of life. Instead, they place value on learning school subjects, like Science, Math, and English.

Unless you want to be an Engineer, Scientist, or Mathmetician, it won't benefit you to master these subjects. Don't get me wrong… there is great utility in learning how to read and write.

However, we are taught a lot of things in school that have zero application to the real world. I wish the school system prepared us to master core life skills, but that's not the case. You can't depend on the education system to teach you these things. Schools teach knowledge, but life requires wisdom.

Find people who have already mastered whatever it is that you want and learn from them. If you want to have an amazing relationship, find people who have an amazing relationship and be around them. Make them your role models. If they have a book or a course, consume their knowledge.

Similarly, if you want to be successful, make success a study. If you want to build a great business, study entrepreneurship and learn the principles of business from successful people. It's all about compressing time.

One of the best ways to master anything is to put yourself in proximity with someone who has the results you desire. Over time, you'll take on their beliefs, values, and mindset.

I make it a mission to attract and connect with successful people. When I do, I make it a priority to ensure that they feel appreciated. In effect, I do things to show that I care. In turn, that same care is reciprocated by them and the relationship is built.

2. Go Deep

If you want to master anything you have to eliminate all distractions and go deep. Most people stay at the surface. They do something for a while but don't stick with it long enough to master it.

It's similar to swimming in the ocean. A lot of people want to swim on the surface. When you're on the surface, you can enjoy the sun and there is less pressure. However, you're not getting the full experience of being in the ocean.

Other people want to scuba dive. By going deep into the ocean, they experience an entirely different world. Yes, there is more pressure and risk by going deeper. However, trust me when I say that the rewards far outweigh the risks of doing so.

Keep in mind that any time that you learn something new, at first you'll feel incompetent. Naturally, this may make you feel insecure. It takes time to get competent at something before you start achieving the results you desire.

There are 4 levels of learning. The first level is unconscious incompetence. This is when you suck at something, but you're not even aware that you suck at it.

The second level is conscious incompetence when you're aware of your incompetence. By knowing where your weaknesses lie, you know what you need to work on.

The third level is conscious competence. This is when you understand and know how to master something.

The fourth level is unconscious competence. This is the definition of mastery. You're doing something without even thinking about it.

3. Repetition

If you want to master something, you can't do something once or twice. Rather, you have to repeat something, again and again. In the words of Bruce Lee, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”

Mastery can feel boring, but you have to embrace it. There's a great book that I suggest you read called, The Talent Code (this link will direct you to the Amazon website). In his book, Daniel Coyle talks about the neuroscience of repetition and why mastery involves deep practice. When I read a book, most of the time I'm learning about something that I already know.

However, this is a good thing! The more that you learn something, again and again, the more that you strengthen that knowledge within yourself. Every time that you use repetition to focus on something, your neurons are firing together and wiring together. This is how habits are formed.

4. Embrace Discomfort

Discomfort is a core part of the learning process. You want to intentionally make it harder on yourself so that you can grow faster. You've got to push beyond what you are comfortable with.

For example, when I was single and trying to master my social skills I would go to nightclubs by myself. When you're with your friends, it's a lot easier to approach women.

By putting myself in a loud environment, I had to learn how to project my voice and communicate with women using my body language. By intentionally stretching my comfort zone, I built up my confidence faster.

5. Fully Immerse Yourself In Your Learning

Immersion is one of the fastest ways to master anything. When you just do something once in a while, it takes forever for you to master it. Conversely, if you fully immerse yourself in learning for a specific period, your growth will skyrocket.

An event or a retreat is a great way to practice immersion. It's like learning a new language. If you want to learn Spanish, you can take a class once per week. Conversely, you can go to Spain or Mexico and immerse yourself in the culture. You'll learn so much faster taking this route.

6. Measure Your Progress

When you measure something, you're consistently putting your attention on it. If you're focusing on something consistently and you encounter a setback, you can easily do something that day to change it.

People fall short on their goals because they are measuring them less frequently. In the words of Peter Drucker, “You can't manage something if you don't measure it.” Whatever you're trying to pursue, the more that you measure your progress, the more you'll notice it.

7. Reward Yourself

Whatever gets rewarded, gets repeated. You have to celebrate your progress. Most people don't see their progress because they're not measuring it. You have to look at what you're getting from the actions that you're taking.

Whenever someone says that they've failed at something, I know that they are only focusing on one part of the story. They aren't looking at what they've learned and gained. If you focus on the skills, wisdom, and work ethic that you've acquired in the pursuit of something, you merely fail forward.

8. Break Past Plateaus

Whatever it is that you want to master, there will be a point when you hit a plateau. Plateaus are a part of the journey. Therefore, you must anticipate plateaus. When they show up, you can't be caught off guard and let it derail you.

You've got to take a step back and analyze what it is that you're doing. Look at things from a different perspective. The level of thinking that got you to where you are, is not the same level of thinking that will get you to where you want to go. You can't be so attached to a specific way of thinking and being. Rather, you have to stay open to everything.

9. Be Patient

Mastery takes time. It doesn't happen overnight. Patience is a virtue, especially in a world where we are conditioned to get everything in an instant. People have such a short attention span because they have overstimulated their brains with dopamine.

Thus, they can't stick with something long enough to master it. In his book, Outliers (this link will direct you to the Amazon website), Malcolm Gladwell expressed that it takes 10,000 hours to master something. That's roughly 10 years.

I've been a YouTuber and an entrepreneur for over a decade now. Mastery is a commitment to never-ending improvement. I've put in my 10,000 hours, but I'm not going to stop. I know that I can always get better at what I do.

10. Pay It Forward and Teach Others

If you want to master something, teach it. Share what you're learning with others. It will force you to learn it at a deeper level and live what you teach. Early on I decided that these 10 areas were so important to me that I wanted to make them a part of my business.

As a result, I have been forced to learn more about how to improve every part of my life. I pay forward everything that l learn and master. I am constantly raising my standards so that I can be a role model for others. That is why I started Project Life Mastery.

If you haven't mastered your inner game, you need to read this.

Success is a mindset game. A lot of people know what they need to do to be successful, but they're not willing to take action.

If you're reading this and thinking, “I can relate”, I've got great news. Today is your opportunity to do something different.

Once you've done the work to master your inner game, there are no limits to what you can achieve in life.

If you're ready to go all-in, keep reading…

Success is never accidental.

You don't achieve your goals in life by sitting on the sidelines and doing the bare minimum. This is a recipe for failure. Success is the result of continuous effort and hard work. I believe that a successful life is available to EVERYONE.

A lot of people want to be successful, but not everyone is willing to do what is required to be successful. Why? Because they haven't mastered their inner game.

You can't achieve anything in the outside world until you've overcome the self-imposed obstacles that prevent you from actualizing your potential. Your inner game, comprised of your beliefs and values, is what determines whether or not you take action towards your dreams.

Mastering your inner game is similar to building muscle. The more that you practice it, the stronger that it gets. When it comes to your inner game, the following 3 factors determine your success in life.

1. Values

Knowing who you are is intimately connected with what you value in life.

Personal values are the measuring sticks by which we determine what is a successful life. What you value will dictate the decisions that you make. If you want to be successful you have to value success. More importantly, you must act in alignment with the values of a highly successful person.

2. Beliefs

Your beliefs impact your thoughts, feelings, and actions. As such, they determine your success in life. All of us have both empowering and disempowering beliefs. Tune in and ask yourself… do your beliefs reflect self-love or self-disgust?

If your answer discourages you, remember this… at any given moment you have the power to choose better beliefs that empower your life. If you believe that life is always happening for you, you will attract opportunities that align with that truth. It's that simple.

3. Emotional States

Becoming a master of your emotions is the ultimate competitive advantage. So many people are at the mercy of their emotions. They feel out of control. In reality, they are the “architects of their experiences“. The more that you challenge your emotions, the more deeply that you feel them.

Your emotional home is your default state of being. The more that you feel frustrated, the more likely you will live in a state of frustration. Conversely, the more that you feel happy, the easier it will be to live in a state of happiness. You can rewire your emotions. By doing so, you will take more empowering actions that lead to a better quality of life.

The Cost of Success

There is always a price to pay for success. It all comes down to how bad you want it.  Are you willing to make sacrifices and do what others will not?

When I first started my entrepreneurial journey I experienced a lot of frustrations. In reality, I wasn't taking enough action to create the success that I desired.

Even worse, the actions that I was taking weren't working. That caused a lot of emotional pain and suffering. Instead of putting my head in the sand and giving up, I chose to make success a top priority in my life.

Thankfully my focus and determination paid off. However, I'll admit that it was at a huge cost to my social life and overall quality of life. That being said, I was willing to endure the discomfort temporarily so that I could create my dream lifestyle.

You can either have excuses or results, but you can't have both.

Listen, I get it. Your excuses may be justified. However, if you're always looking for reasons as to why you don't achieve something, you'll only become a victim of your circumstances.

In this state, you will constantly deflect responsibility. At the end of the day, the one common denominator in you achieving your goals is YOU.

There will come a time when you have to point the finger back at yourself and say, “I am responsible for everything that has happened in my life.” When you do this, you become the driver of your destiny instead of the victim of your life.

Are you ready to master your inner game?

No one in history has become successful without their inner game being on-point. If you want something bad enough, you'll find a way to make it happen. Your shoulds will become musts.

When your inner game is strong enough, you'll find the success that you know you deserve and are capable of. Don't stop until you're proud. Your future self will thank you for it.

Or maybe you've had an online business for a few years now and you're contemplating changing your career altogether.

Wherever you are right now, I want to help you get clarity on whether or not being an entrepreneur is the right path for you.

Entrepreneurship is 80% psychology and 20% skill, meaning that it takes a certain type of mindset to become a successful entrepreneur.

The entrepreneurial advice that I'm about to give you will help you make a decision once and for all…

Are you ready to become a successful entrepreneur? CLICK HERE to take my 60-second quiz to find out which online business model is the best for you to start your online business!

I've been an entrepreneur for over a decade now.

Over the years, I've observed a lot of people who have made attempts to become entrepreneurs. Many of them have either given up because they found it to be too hard, or they came to accept that it just wasn't for them.

While I believe that everybody is capable of becoming a successful entrepreneur, not everybody is willing to go down that path. It's not a matter of “can you”. Rather, it's a matter of “will you”. Success isn't about ability; it's about mindset.

Successful entrepreneurs possess a mental blueprint, comprised of similar character traits, habits, and belief systems. Some people are natural-born entrepreneurs. However, everything you need to be a good entrepreneur — experience, grit, luck, discipline, knowledge, etc. — you can earn for yourself.

Anybody can alter their belief systems and change their lives for the better by committing to personal growth. I am an example of someone who did this. When I first started on my self-development journey, I was depressed, shy, lazy, and negative. I didn't have an empowering bone in my body.

However, through self-development, I was able to change every area of my life. In turn, I ended up overcoming some of my greatest challenges, one of which was crippling social anxiety. I had the motivation to tap into my potential. Self-development made me believe that I could become more. I knew that anything was possible if I just believed in myself.

That's what I did. Fast forward to today and I have gone on to become a successful 7-figure entrepreneur. I am a coach, a motivational speaker, a content creator, and an influencer who has over one million subscribers on YouTube. I'm not telling you this because I think I'm special.

I was just willing to do what was hard.

The vision that I had for my life trumped any obstacle that I faced along my journey to success. If you have yet to cultivate the skills that are required to become a successful entrepreneur, ask yourself… do you have the motivation to learn these skills?

I see a lot of people dive into the world of entrepreneurship thinking that it's easier than a 9 to 5 job. As someone who has been both an employee and an entrepreneur, I can say for certain that this is far from true. A lot of people want success. However, they aren't willing to make the necessary changes within themselves to create success.

There are pros and cons of being an entrepreneur. The pros being that you can be your own boss, make passive income, retire early, travel the world, and live the laptop lifestyle, to name a few things. The cons include working harder than ever before and making sacrifices to build your business the right way.

There is always some level of risk and uncertainty involved with being an entrepreneur. The business world is constantly changing, which means that you have to constantly make sure that you are on top of your game.

At the end of the day, what will determine whether or not you decide to become an entrepreneur is if you decide that the pros are greater than the cons.

I decided that it was worth it, which meant that I was willing to do anything and everything to become successful. Are you willing to embrace the cons in the short-term to create your dream life?

You won't know the answer to this question until you start a business.

If you're still not sure if you should become an entrepreneur, I encourage you to reflect upon what your nature is. This is something that I learned from Tony Robbins. He believes that there are three different business natures or identities.

The first nature is the artist. This is someone who is very creative and who has a specific skill set. An example would be an actor or a musician.

The second nature is the entrepreneur. This is someone who is a risk-taker and an innovator. They create something new from scratch. In effect, the entrepreneur loves to create a start-up and build systems that come with scaling a business.

The third nature is the manager/leader. This is someone who loves to build a team and manage people. They motivate and inspire people to follow in their vision. Also, they can easily hire and fire.

Keep in mind that you can embody all three of these natures. However, there will be one that you will relate to more. Which nature is that for you? The best advice that I can give you is to commit to working on your true nature.  Once you know who you are and what your strengths and weaknesses are, there is no limit to how much you can achieve in life.

Are you ready to dive into the world of entrepreneurship?

You'll never really know if this path is right for you unless you take action and give it a shot. Check out my Online Business Mastery YouTube playlist for my best tips and strategies on how to start an online business.

If you're willing to not give up, I truly believe that you can be, do, and have anything. At the end of the day, all that matters is that you are happy and that you find your mission in life. Stay patient and trust the journey, no matter what path you take.

Are you nurturing your inner home?

I don't care what your life looks like on the outside. It's not where you live physically that matters. Rather, it's where you live emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I believe that building your inner home of happiness should be your ultimate goal in life.

The problem is that we live in a society that overvalues success and views it as the end all be all. Don't get me wrong… achieving success is great! However, if you're under the illusion that success will lead to happiness and fulfillment you're setting yourself up for massive disappointment.

This is why so many people fall into the trap of chasing success, to the point of becoming a success addict. You can still experience excitement, passion, and joy as you're pursuing success. However, that's just a massive dopamine rush.

To a certain extent, praise stimulates the neurotransmitter dopamine, which is what makes all addictive behaviors addictive. If you choose to sacrifice your happiness for ‘hits' of success, over time you'll feel empty. You have to remember that you're not a human doing. Rather, you're a human being.

If you are constantly doing you are not truly living, which is why you must cultivate mindfulness. What you experience internally is the most important thing to master in life. As humans, we can achieve a state of self-actualization through the fulfillment of basic human needs.

Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a motivational theory in psychology comprising a five-tier model of human needs. From the bottom of the hierarchy upwards, the needs are:

  1. Physiological needs (food, water, and shelter)
  2. Safety needs (security)
  3. Love and belonging needs (romantic relationships and friendships)
  4. Esteem needs (self-worth)
  5. Self-actualization needs (achieving your potential)

Everyone is capable of reaching the level of self-actualization. It's the Holy Grail.

However, doing so will require that you put in the effort to meet the other 4 lower-level needs. At this stage in my life, I spend the majority of my time at the level of self-actualization. My top priority is mastering my inner world.

I still have financial goals that I want to attain, but they are not that important to me. There was a time in my life when achieving success and making money was everything to me. I had to be obsessed with achievement to get to where I am today. However, success didn't give me happiness.

I know a lot of people who have all the money in the world, but they're miserable on the inside. In my opinion, that's not living. Tony Robbins said it best – “Success without fulfillment is failure.” The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your emotions.

If you consistently feel disempowering emotions, like anger, sadness, frustration, shame, or guilt, you will never feel fulfilled. This is why I believe that the most important habit of your life is to take the time every day to experience positive emotions. This habit requires that you cultivate a high level of emotional self-awareness.

You have to intentionally tune in to how you feel and how your emotions impact your decisions in life. If you want to be happy you have to wake up every day and consciously choose to live in a beautiful state, regardless of what's going on in your external world.

How To Cultivate The Habit of Experiencing Positive Emotions

I don't care what your life looks like right now. There is always something to be grateful for IF you are willing to direct your focus towards what you love about your life.

Directing your focus is a habit. By default, your mind will always search for the negative.

Your brain isn't designed to make you happy. Rather, it's designed to help you survive. Therefore, it is constantly looking for threats to your survival. While that's helpful for keeping you alive, it's detrimental to your happiness.

The next time that you catch yourself falling into a disempowering state, ask yourself the following questions – “What is this experience teaching me? How can I use this experience to become a better person?” Don't judge your thoughts and emotions. Rather, become an observer of them.

By doing this, you'll start to realize that YOU are not your thoughts. In fact, you'll come to find out that your thoughts were never yours, to begin with. Meditation is a powerful tool for practicing the art of non-attachment. It allows you to connect with the present moment and surrender to what is.

In this state of mind, you will experience an abundance of inner peace and joy. The more that you condition yourself to feel positive emotions, the more that those emotions will become automatic. When you adopt the belief that life is always happening for you, you start to embrace every experience in your life as a gift. This is when you become truly free.

Emotional mastery is the most important habit of your life.

Please don't spend your life chasing success. Your external accomplishments are not an indication of your happiness. Rather, strive for self-actualization. That is where you will find lasting fulfillment.

I'll leave you with these words from Steve Maraboli –“Many people strive for success to find happiness when, in fact, the inverse is true. Strive for happiness and you shall find success.”

If you aren't willing to work hard, you won't get far in life. It's that simple.

The best things in life come from a combination of hard work, passion, and unwavering perseverance.

Unfortunately, a lot of people create a million and one excuses about why they can't achieve success. Their desire for instant gratification clouds their inability to start anything.

Conversely, hard workers are willing to delay gratification because they associate hard work with high rewards.

If you're ready to work hard and hustle to create your dream lifestyle, keep reading…

Be honest with yourself… do you work hard?

The truth will set you free. It did for me. I believe that all of us hit a breaking point in our lives where we say, “I'm tired of playing small.” There was a stage in my life where I was a chronic procrastinator. I couldn't finish anything that I started and I had zero motivation. In short, I was lazy.

If I wanted to get out of the funk that I was in, I knew that I had to start cultivating the habit of working hard. I had to train my brain to do hard things, even when I didn't feel like it. As I was moving through the process of reprogramming my mind, I pulled upon the life philosophy of Tony Robbins who says “If you can't, then you must.”

If you say that you can't do something, but that you know by doing it you will become a better person, you owe it to yourself to do it. You must be willing to do hard things if you want to grow. A lot of people avoid doing hard things because the act of doing them is uncomfortable.

The problem is that people become so focused on the cost of doing something that they completely ignore the fact that there’s also a cost to doing nothing. Sit back and ask yourself, “What is the cost of not doing the thing that is hard, but that you know will transform your life?”

There is a lot of pain involved in not working hard and achieving your goals. Start associating pain with laziness and doing what is easy. In my experience, doing easy things never creates success. You don't develop courage and strength by playing it safe.

When you play it safe in life, you run the risk of becoming lazy.

Laziness is the enemy of action. If you're struggling with motivation right now, remind yourself what laziness is costing you.

Second, commit to taking one small action every day. When your motivation is at an all-time low it can be hard to even start. I've been there.

However, all progress in life starts and ends with taking action. Once you take action and experience the rewards from your efforts, you will experience self-satisfaction from the act of doing hard things. You will feel a sense of pride, confidence, and self-esteem. In effect, working hard will become a habit.

It will become a part of who you are. It comes down to this – how badly do you want success? If you want to achieve anything of value in life you have to focus on the long-term. Short-term thinking will only lead to failure and disappointment. Successful people know that great things take time.

Success stories don't expect to achieve success overnight. Instead, they hustle, day in and day out, to create their dream life. At the beginning of my online business journey, I was willing to do anything and everything to become successful. I took crazy and extreme actions.

I didn't allow my fears and limiting beliefs to overpower my desires. If I couldn't find a way, I made one. My commitment to my vision trumped everything else. There were no excuses in my vocabulary. This mindset has allowed me to build a multi-million dollar brand.

At the end of the day, it isn't the money that I earn that has given me happiness and fulfillment. Rather, it's the person who I've become along my journey to success.

THIS is why you should work hard in life.

The question is, “Will you?” Nothing in your life will work unless YOU work. No more excuses. No more plan Bs. Are you willing to go all-in and do whatever it takes to achieve success?

I went from broke to millionaire.

Those of you who follow me know my story. I didn't grow up having a lot of money. My parents went through a really bad bankruptcy, which resulted in them getting a divorce. This experience created a lot of turmoil in my family. Thus, from an early age, I associated pain with not having money.

I never wanted to struggle financially. When I was in my 20's, I made the decision that I would do whatever it took to become a millionaire. For 18 years I've been on a self-development journey. I've been learning and consuming knowledge from the most successful millionaires in the world.

I believe that one of the best and easiest ways to create success is to study success. Millionaires aren't lucky. Rather, they do specific things every single day that contributes to their success.

I intentionally placed myself in the right environments with people who were more successful than I was. Furthermore, I practiced the success habits of the super-rich. As a result, I became a millionaire at 27 years old.

These are the 7 millionaire habits that have made the biggest impact in my life. Let's dive in!

1. The Habit of Goal-Setting

If you want to become a millionaire, you have to know exactly what it is that you want. Nobody becomes a millionaire by accident. If you want to achieve massive success you need to have a millionaire vision. A vision gives you a sense of direction.

Take a moment and reflect upon what you want your life to look like 10 years down the road. Visualize it AS IF it has already become your reality. Activate all of your senses and imagine yourself there.

Create the experience of emotions you’d be feeling if you’d already achieved it. Get clear and specific on your destination. Your imagination is the preview of your life's coming attractions.

Once you have your vision statement, you then need to create goals. Goal-setting is a habit. It's not something that you just do once. I encourage you to break down your vision into yearly, quarterly, monthly, and weekly goals.

When it comes to setting goals, you must prioritize them. Also, you should regularly check in on the progress of your goals. Ideally, every single day. Doing so will help remind you what you are focused on achieving. The more that you focus on your goals, the more likely you will achieve them.

2. The Habit of Focusing On Your ‘Why'

What will determine whether or not you achieve your goals is the reason you have to take massive action. A lot of people have goals, but they are lacking motivation. This is why your ‘why' is so important.

You need to create a daily habit of reminding yourself why you want to become a millionaire. I'm sure that you have an idea of what you need to do to create more success in your life.

The reason why you aren't doing what you know you should do is that your ‘why' isn't strong enough. You're linking more pain to taking action than not taking action. That's what procrastination is.

It's not until you want something bad enough that you get what it is that you want. Are you willing to do whatever it takes to become a millionaire? If you want success bad enough, you'll go above and beyond.

I like to make a list of 100 reasons why I will achieve a specific goal. At first, you may struggle with this process. The ego wants you to stay inside your comfort zone. Push yourself and commit to coming up with 100 reasons.

Once you've got your list, make it a habit of reading a few of them every single day. Doing so will motivate you and ensure that you continue taking massive action.

3. The Habit of Massive Action

You cannot achieve anything in life without taking massive action. It is the holy grail. Everything else that we talk about is useless unless you're taking massive action. Massive action is a habit.

It's a muscle that you build every single day. The more actions that you take, the more confident that you will be. In turn, you will become empowered to do more. Every time that you take action, you move one step closer to creating the life that you want.

In today's digital world, knowledge is more accessible than ever before. Don't get me wrong… consuming knowledge is great. However, be mindful that you aren't overloading yourself with information to the point where you do nothing with it.

Analysis paralysis is our tendency to seek more information than is needed to make decisions and take action. If you are not implementing what you're learning, you're wasting your time and energy. Knowledge isn't power. Rather, it's potential power.

Knowledge is only power to the extent that it is used. The real power is taking massive action. Every day you have an opportunity to take action, whether it's exercising, meditating, working on your business, or reading books. When you commit to showing up for yourself, you master your time, health, and energy.

4. The Habit of Reframing Failure and Disappointment

Becoming a millionaire isn't easy. You will experience a lot of challenges along the way. There will be times when you make mistakes that waste your time and money. You'll have goals that you set that won't come to fruition.

What you expect should happen will not happen in the way that you wanted it to. That's called the process of success. Everybody who has become a millionaire has gone through these ups and downs.

The difference between those who succeed and those who fail comes down to meaning and perspective. Any time that you face a setback in life, you have two choices. You can either let your pain prevent you from taking action or you can reframe an event as a learning opportunity.

It's not what happens to you, but how you respond to it that matters. Successful people don't focus on what isn't working. Rather, they are constantly finding ways to leverage their fears.

Failure is a great thing! It tells you what works and what doesn't. Ultimately, this helps you pay more attention to what you are doing. As a result, you won't make the same mistakes twice.

When things get difficult, make it a habit of practicing reframing your failures. Over time, you will start making failure work for you instead of against you.

5. The Habit of Daily Learning

You're engaging in this habit right now! I commend you for it. Daily learning can be in the form of books, podcasts, YouTube videos, online courses, or mentors to name a few things. I have been improving myself on a daily basis since I was 17 years old.

In particular, building the habit of reading every day has helped me create a lot of wealth. If you love reading, check out my top 10 must-read books for creating financial freedom. If you want to be successful at anything, you have to model success.

Self-education will help you get to where you want to go, faster. This is how you will compress decades into days. The more that you learn, the more money that you will earn. It's that simple.

6. The Habit of Long-Term Thinking

Becoming a millionaire is a long-term game. Success won't happen overnight. To become a millionaire you will need to make important decisions. These decisions may not seem important to you when you're making them.

However, when repeated, these decisions can transform your entire life. Most people make decisions with their time and money on things that give them immediate gratification. Unfortunately, there is always a cost to doing so.

Millionaires delay gratification and make sacrifices that will benefit them, long-term. You have to pay a price to achieve success. I've had to make a lot of sacrifices to get to where I am today.

Again, ask yourself – how badly do you want success? Successful people do what others will not.

7. The Habit of Surrounding Yourself With Success

You are the by-product of the average of the five people that you spend the most time with. If those people are broke, lazy, and depressed, they are going to negatively influence your energy, belief systems, and behaviors.

If you want to become a millionaire, you've got to put yourself in environments with people who are already millionaires. You never want to strive to be the smartest person in a room. You won't grow in those rooms!

Rather, surround yourself with people who have already achieved what it is that you desire. In my experience, ultra-successful people are more than happy to share their recipe for success. I understand that it's easier said than done to surround yourself with millionaires. It takes time, but it's possible.

A great way to get in close proximity with millionaires is to attend their live events. If that isn't possible, learn as much as you can from them online, through their courses, podcasts, YouTube videos, books, or training programs.

If you aspire to be mentored by a millionaire, the best way to go about doing this is by adding value. Don't be a taker and just reach out to someone and ask him/her to mentor you. Always strive to be of service first.

Comment on their social media posts, write blog posts, or create YouTube videos where you mention their name and highlight their expertise. Win their respect and make them feel appreciated.

Will you apply these 7 millionaire habits?

Habits are the result of repeated actions. When I look back on my life, these are the habits that have contributed most to my success. Think and act as if you are already a millionaire. Which habit will you take action on today?

This is the motivation that you've been looking for to start building your online business.

Working from home, traveling the world, and making money while you sleep is an appealing lifestyle for many.

However, research shows that building a profitable online business is easier dreamed than done. Anyone can start an online business, but not everyone will take action.

Motivation is a key ingredient for entrepreneurial success. It is the secret sauce that turns a dream into a reality.

Inside this blog, I give the best advice for starting an online business in 2021.

If you're ready to do whatever it takes to start designing life on your terms, you'll want to read this!

Motivation is what gets you started.

Everyone is capable of building an online business. I've never met anyone who isn't capable of it. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that everyone is built for it. Not everyone is willing to go through the entrepreneurial journey.

In the world of entrepreneurship, there are a lot of things that aren't certain. However, there is one thing that you can be certain of – you will encounter failures and disappointments. Success isn't a linear process. Rather, it's a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows. There will be ups and downs.

With growth, comes setbacks. It always comes back to this truth… how bad do you want it? Bad enough that you're willing to do anything and everything to achieve success?

When I first started my online business I was willing to sacrifice things that others would not. There was no Plan B for the direction that I wanted my life to take. I was willing to work as if my life depended on it. If I couldn't find a way, I was willing to make a way.

Being an entrepreneur isn't easy.

One of the most common reasons why entrepreneurs give up is because of a lack of determination, motivation, and grit. It takes serious commitment to start and build an online business. You've got to be willing to be all-in.

When people first start their online business there is a surge of excitement and motivation. They are ready to be their own boss, make their own schedule, and have freedom of time. However, they are soon hit with the reality of what it actually takes to be successful.

Running a business is like raising a child. You have to invest an insane amount of time, hard work, and passion into it if you want to see it grow. Here is my BEST advice for starting an online business the right way in 2021.

1. Take Imperfect Action

A lot of people fall into the trap of saying all of the things that they want to do in their online business. However, they never end up taking action to make them happen. Stop thinking and start doing! Stop wasting time planning and waiting for the perfect time to start. Just start.

When you move into action mode, you beat analysis paralysis. Take action every day to grow your business. It doesn't matter how slow you go, just don't stop. By taking one step at a time and making progress, it will build your confidence. In turn, you will be inspired to do more. This is when your business has the potential to scale.

2. Invest in Yourself

The more that you learn, the more money that you will earn. It's that simple. If you want to add more value, you must commit to growing and improving yourself. The success that I have today is because of the thousands of hours and tens of thousands of dollars that I've invested into my personal development.

In short, I took crazy and extreme actions to be successful. I knew that if I wanted to grow my business, I first had to grow myself. I went all in and it paid off. When you first start your online business there is massive a learning curve. I'm not going to lie… it's challenging.

At first, everything is brand new. This is why I'm a big believer in investing in training programs, courses, mentors, and coaches. Anything that helps you fastrack your success and shorten your learning curve is key.

3. Treat Your Online Business Like A Job

Entrepreneurship is a career. If you want to succeed, you have to treat it as such. You can't dabble. A lot of people get themselves into trouble because they don't have any accountability system in place.

In a 9 to 5 job, you are accountable to your boss – you have to do whatever he/she tells you to do. If you don't, you get fired. There are consequences.

However, as an entrepreneur, you are only accountable to yourself. Everything is on YOU. There are no set work hours. Thus, you've got to carve out specific times during the day that you devote to building your business.

You've got to be diligent. If you treat your online business like you would a job, you will make progress and get results. Give your online business the focus that it deserves. Treat it like the real business that it is.

This is my best advice for starting an online business.

Success isn't a matter of ability. Rather, it's a matter of motivation. If you want something bad enough and you refuse to give up, there is no limit to how successful you can be.

Commit to yourself that 2021 will be the year that you build an online business that adds massive value to the world. I know that you're capable of doing it. The question is… do you know?

Do you have limiting beliefs that are holding you back from living your best life?

False beliefs are conditioned from childhood. Many of us don't think to question these beliefs because they are stored in our subconscious minds.

As a result, we may not even be aware of the ways in which they affect us on a daily basis. Disempowering beliefs have one goal – to sabotage your potential.

If you're ready to stop being a victim of your thoughts and start becoming a master of your mind, read this.

Limiting beliefs hinder success.

What you think directly influences how you feel and how you behave. Whatever you believe is what will be true for YOU, whether it's based on reality or not. There is no right or wrong belief.

Limiting beliefs are exactly what they sound like – they are disempowering stories that limit what you believe is possible. You can have the desire to pursue something, but if you don't believe that you can achieve it, you will never take action.

As an example, if you don't think you deserve success, you will feel like a failure. In turn, this will reinforce your belief that you aren't destined for success. Thus, your beliefs will turn into self-fulfilling prophecies.

The good news is that you have the power to change your limiting beliefs. You are the architect of your psychology.

I believe that it is our responsibility to question and challenge every single belief that we have about ourselves and the world. Unlearning requires that we dissolve old thought patterns, habits, and default mental frameworks. When you unlearn, you open yourself to new ways of thinking and new possibilities.

Ask yourself – what are the facts to support that these beliefs are true? Is there evidence to refute these beliefs?

Once you have gone through the process of challenging your beliefs, you then want to start adopting new beliefs. When you believe in something empowering, it will lead to new actions that will create amazing results.

Let's talk about 3 limiting beliefs holding you back from success.

1. “I am _____.”

Having disempowering beliefs about yourself have one purpose – they hold you back from reaching your potential in life. Saying things like, “I am a failure”, “I am ugly” or “I am shy” are merely stories that assume that you can't do something.

When you accept these beliefs as facts, you create experiences that affirm those beliefs. Whatever you attach to the words “I am” is what you become. It is creating your identity. Your identity is a series of beliefs about who you are.

A belief is a feeling of certainty about what something means, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it's true. We download a lot of our limiting beliefs in childhood.

In his best-selling book, The Biology of Belief, Dr. Bruce Lipton says that, from birth to age seven, we operate primarily in brain wavelengths that are close to a hypnotic state. When we're operating like this, we observe what adults are saying and doing, and we download that information.

Be mindful of how you talk to yourself because your mind is always listening. When you commit to consciously reprogram your beliefs and build new habits of thinking and behaving, you take back control of your life.

2. “I can't _____.”

Whatever you set your mind to, you can achieve. There is nothing that you cannot do. What you will do is a different story altogether. As Tony Robbins says – Change is never a matter of ability, it’s always a matter of motivation.

When you question WHY something is the way it is, it empowers you to think differently. I used to have debilitating social anxiety, to the point where I couldn't speak in public. I made it my goal to learn how to overcome this fear because I was driven to become more.

Nobody is born with abilities. Rather, we create who we are based on the beliefs that we live by. For this reason alone, success is an inner game. Don't allow a few failed attempts to determine why you can't do something. Every moment is a new opportunity to be, do, and have whatever life that you want.

3. “I don't have the _____.”

“I don't have the money”, “I don't have the time”, or “I don't have the resources.” These are all B.S. statements — belief systems. If you're committed enough you will invest the time to make something happen, at the expense of something else.

Again, it's not a matter of ability. Rather, it's a matter of motivation. It's how you use your time that matters most. Once you have recognized what your “I don't have the” statement is, work to replace your limiting beliefs with empowering alternatives.

As an example, if your limiting belief is, “I don't deserve change” an empowering alternative can be, “I am constantly growing and evolving. I have the power to become who I want to be.” Never close off your mind to what is possible. Stay open and have faith.

Are you ready to break free from your limiting beliefs?

Don't allow your limiting beliefs to hijack your success! Make it a priority to question every thought that you have. When you change your thoughts, you change your beliefs. When you change your beliefs, you create a new reality, with you as the hero of your life story.

These 5 investments changed my life forever.

The investments that I am going to talk about aren't the typical ones that you might think about.

I believe that success in life is achieved by making investment decisions in different areas of your life.

The more knowledge that you accumulate, the more opportunities you have to better yourself.

Investing in yourself will always yield the greatest returns. In the words of Warren Buffett, “The most important investment you can make is in yourself.”

If you're ready to raise your standards and improve the quality of your life, read this.

You never lose when you invest in yourself.

Whether it's mastering a new skill, working with a coach, or learning a new skill, self-improvement is a superpower. You cannot serve others to the best of your ability if you don't do the work to show up for yourself. Investing in yourself sends a message to the world, which is this:

The value and potential that I possess are important enough to me that I’m going to give it the energy, space, and time to grow and create results.”

When you commit to bettering yourself, life rewards you with a world of opportunities. Not only that, but it allows you to become the best version of yourself which makes you a magnet for success. Here are 5 key investments that changed my life forever.

1. Investing in Communication Skills

Improving my communication skills has been the most powerful investment I've ever made. It has positively benefitted every aspect of my life. My belief is shared by Warren Buffett, who is one of the greatest investors of all time.

When he was asked to share one piece of advice for 21- to 22-year-olds who just graduated, he said – “The one easy way to become worth 50 percent more than you are now — at least — is to hone your communication skills — both written and verbal.”

Warren Buffett used to be terrified of public speaking. In a previous interview, he expressed that if he wanted to reach his full potential, he knew that he had to overcome this fear.

As a result, he decided to attend a Dale Carnegie speaking class which would change the course of his entire life. I can relate to this. I used to be incredibly shy. My anxiety was so bad that I would isolate myself at home and avoid interacting with people at all costs. I had no confidence or social skills.

When I was 17 years old, I hit my emotional threshold and decided to change my life. I was committed to improving and mastering this area of my life. I joined Toastmasters and took public speaking classes every single week.

Speaking in front of a group of supportive people gave me confidence and taught me how to communicate effectively. Today, I feel so blessed to be in a position where I get to influence millions of people through my YouTube channel.

To date, my channel has over 60 million views. None of this would be possible if I didn't commit to investing so many hours into mastering my communication skills.

2. Investing in Personal Development

The hundreds of books that I've read, the endless podcasts that I've listened to, and the countless seminars, training programs, and events that I've invested in have contributed to my ever-growing skillset.

The thousands of hours and tens of thousands of dollars that I've invested into my personal development have contributed to my success in life. When it comes to specific people who have had the biggest impact on my life, Tony Robbins is at the top of my list.

I've attended Tony Robbins' seminars multiple times, whether it be Unleash the Power Within, Date with Destiny, Business Mastery, or his Leadership Academy training. He inspired me to build my brand, Project Life Mastery.

I've been blessed to have the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with Tony in Fiji and Las Vegas. He is the real deal. I encourage you to consume and devour as much knowledge as you can from him.

Another life-changing investment that I've made was taking part in neurofeedback training at the Biocybernaut Institute. At the institute, I had the opportunity to biohack 40 years of meditation in 7 days. Keep in mind that this was not a cheap event. The training packages start at $15,000.

The benefits that I received from that training have been far-reaching, some of which include an increase in my creativity, an increase in EQ, an increase in IQ, a calmer mind, and a heightened level of consciousness.

I have yet to find a training that is equivalent to what the Biocybernaut Institute provides.

Lastly, taking the plant-based medicine Ayahuasca, at the Soltara Healing Center, was an experience that I'll never forget. Ayahuasca allows you to tap into and explore your subconscious mind.

My experience with Ayahuasca was wild, mind-blowing, and life-transformative. The medicine helped me connect with and heal my past trauma. Since my experience, I've felt lighter, happier, and more at peace.

More importantly, I feel like a more conscious and purposeful version of myself. In my opinion, anything that you can do to improve who you are is a worthwhile investment.

3. Investing in My Health

As the saying goes, “Your health is your wealth.” A lot of people focus solely on work and building success but they forget about their physical bodies. I don't know about you, but I don't want to be the richest man in the graveyard.

If you have all the money in the world, but it's at the expense of your health, you'll have a limited experience of life. This is why I make my health a top priority. When I talk about health, I separate fitness from health.

Fitness is your capacity to have strength and endurance. There are a lot of people who are fit, but unhealthy. In my eyes, health is when every part of your body is optimized. I am hypervigilant about what I put inside of my body so that it can function at an optimal level.

I eat organic whole foods, take high-quality supplements daily, and I make a lot of investments into improving my gut and hormone health. By engaging in healthy habits on a consistent basis I am able to function at an optimal level of wellness.

A lot of the health conditions that exist today, whether it be cancer or heart disease, can be prevented if people would commit to changing their lifestyle. Kevin Trudeau is right when he said that, “Most people have no idea how good their body is designed to feel.” Everybody deserves the gift of good health.

4. Investing to Start An Online Business

By creating passive income and financial freedom, I have been able to accelerate growth in every other aspect of my life. Making more money has allowed me to create more opportunities. Keep in mind that I didn't have any business skills when I first started.

Rather, I learned everything through trial and error. I found mentors who had the success that I wanted, and I did what they said. I'm not going to lie… the first few years of building my online business were tough. I failed a lot, but I never gave up on my dreams because I had a strong why.

It's fair to say that I used my pain as motivation and kept taking massive action. It was through brute force that I was able to succeed. Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I've had success with a lot of different business models, whether it be selling physical products on Amazon, coaching/consulting, affiliate marketing, or online courses.

Yes, I've been able to make a lot of money. However, more importantly, I've learned so many invaluable skills along the way. Once you build an online business to a certain point, making money becomes a lot easier.

If I wanted to make an extra one million per year, I can do so because I've built a strong foundation for my business. I have the skills, confidence, and abilities to do more. Nobody can ever take away what you've learned and who you've become.

5. Investing in the Stock Market

When I was 18 years old, I made my first financial investment of $500 into a Bank of Montreal mutual fund. I started putting $25 per month into it so that the money would compound over time.

As I started saving and making more money from my business, I realized that investing in stocks was the true path to financial freedom. You can create freedom from building a business. However, the problem with business is that, if you're not involved in it, your business may not stand the test of time.

I've built up my investment portfolio to the point where I never have to work a day in my life again. This has been life-changing for me. I no longer do things because I have to do them. Rather, I do them because I choose to do them.

Investing in the stock market has given me time, freedom, and peace of mind. This will continue to be one of the most life-changing investments that I make, especially as I get older.

The two investments that I've made the most money from have been Tesla and Shopify. I've also done really well with the Vanguard index funds that I've invested in. I can confidently say that index funds are the best long-term strategy that I will never have to worry about.
